Riverside Mall Voted Best Shopping Centre In Nelspruit For The Fourth Year In A Row

It is said that you can't keep a good man down; as the Lowvelders' Best of Nelspruit Readers Choice Awards have proven, neither can you keep a good business such as the Riverside Mall from being recognized as the "Best Shopping Centre in Nelspruit."
This confidence is not misplaced as year in and year out Riverside Mall has kept their service standards sky-high by keeping the premises clean, safe, pedestrian and vehicle friendly. Furthermore, Old Mutual Investment Group Property Investments went the extra mile in challenging management, tenants and service providers to ensure that each person that visits the mall experiences "the ultimate shopping experience at the mall".
OMIGPI has implemented a series of training programmes aimed at developing and training every staff grouping to assist the service providers in progressing and developing in their position. The Protocol provides seven behaviour guidelines based on the OMIGPI organisational values to live by while working in the OMIGPI environment. Points such as greet and smile, always use positive body language, and find ways to offer help are learned and practices by all employees under the OMIGPI umbrella.
Along with Riverside Mall winning this prestigious award, some of the mall's tenants were also nominated for their service excellence. Nevills won the award for the BEST Clothing Store in Nelspruit and when Duncan was asked what his secret was, he replied that "personal service, great quality and competitive prices were his secret to fame". Cardies Riverside Mall won in the category for the BEST Gift Store in Nelspruit which is a brilliant award for Andre the owner, as they took over the store less than a year ago.
Some of our other tenants also walked away with an award that we would like to congratulate. They include the following tenants: Edgars, Mr. Price Clothing, Nu-Metro, C N A, Mr. Price Home, @ Home, Pick & Pay and Clicks.
We feel encouraged by the public to be the front liners in the business etiquette and are supported by our tenants including their shoppers to achieve that consistently.
This Award clearly indicates that the consumers view Riverside Mall as "More than a Mall". It is the place where friendships and family relationships are formed and nourished.
