NELSPRUIT – To remind everyone that it’s National Crime Awareness Day, all major security companies and emergency service providers operating in the Riverside Park are staging a security roadshow in the precinct on Wednesday May 19.
What might look like a big disaster being taken care of during the morning rush hour, is quite the opposite: a fun and colourful way of making specifically our kids security conscious and showing everyone that the precinct is a safe place!
Our dashing men in uniform will hand out tons of gifts and entry forms for an educational and fun colouring-in competition to learners on their way to school. Awesome cash prizes are up for grabs. Simply follow the instructions and hand in your entry before May 25 at The Grove management office.
After an impressive drive through the precinct and fly-over by the police helicopter, the participating companies will set up stalls at The Grove. Security scouts will scour the parking areas to spot neglectful drivers leaving valuables in full sight, windows open or doors unlocked! Entry forms available at the stalls and distributed at local schools. Enquiries: Renate on 013-757 0942.
